Equine assisted therapy group brings miniature horses to libraries to teach kids

Humans. Horses. Hope. That's the slogan of Equest, a group whose goal is to positively transform lives through interaction with one of humanity's most relied upon creatures, horses.

The nonprofit organization has worked for more than 35 years in the field of equine therapy to help the elderly, veterans, children with disabilities and individuals starting as young as 2 years old to learn about horses and even improve the health of those who need it.
