You may have heard of beer pairings with Girl Scout Cookies and beer pairings with cupcakes. But this latest crazy match may have just trumped them all.
Behold, the craft beer and fancy doughnut pairing.
LUCK in Trinity Groves has partnered with Glazed Donut Works in Deep Ellum to bring hungry patrons a brunch beer flight with complimenting artisan doughnuts this Sunday. The restaurant will serve them from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $10-$12, while supplies last.
The mini beers will come with mini doughnuts in the following duos:
- Saigon Cinnamon doughnut with a winter warmer from Grapevine Craft Brewery
- Macadamia Toasted Coconut doughnut with a southwest pale ale from Revolver Brewing
- Chocolate Cherry Bomb doughnut with a farmhouse wit IPA from Bearded Eel Craft Brewery
- Salted Caramel Old Fashioned doughnut with a milk stout from 903 Brewers
All the beers are produced by local microbreweries. LUCK doesn't take reservations, so you'll have to be on your game Sunday morning. Just go ahead and cancel whatever plans you already made, so you're one step closer to this greatness.
