First trailers for 'Wonder Woman' and 'Justice League' bring the heat to Comic Con

With San Diego Comic Con taking the nerd world by storm this week, it's no surprise that DC brought the thunder with a first look at its upcoming movie slate with the first trailers for 2017's Wonder Woman and 2018's Justice League.  Take a look.

Wonder Woman

Wow wow wow. Hot off the heels of March's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the next tale in the DC Cinematic Universe looks, well, like a fantastic adventure film with a killer lead and a whole world of lore to draw from.

This first trailer has Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman kicking ass in the human world, fighting on battlefields, wielding her sword and shield and more. I mean, just look at those lasso fight scenes. Absolutely incredible, and we can't wait to see how this one turns out. Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine (Star Trek) as Steve Trevor.

Justice League

And of course, who could forget Justice League, which will bring together heroes Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman as they squad up to take down some cosmic threats.

This trailer is more of a collection of footage, just like the "first" Suicide Squad trailer we got last year. Here, Batman is going around recruiting the team, and this includes a tense moment with Aquaman and a hilarious scene with The Flash. While we may be more excited for Wonder Woman right now, this trailer no doubt has us excited for what's to come.
